Welcome to a piece of paradise overlooking Boat Harbour Beach and Bass Strait. Boat Harbour Beach House is located on the idyllic North West Coast of Tasmania about 2 hours north west of Launceston. It is a classic 1950’s family shack which has been modernised, whilst still retaining some original retro features. Simple touches and family treasures make it the perfect escape from modern life – a chance to slow down and immerse yourself in the sounds of the ocean. With large windows framing expansive sunlit views, Boat Harbour Beach House invites you to settle in, unwind and leave your busy life behind. The upstairs balcony beckons the sea air and has panoramic views of both Boat Harbour and the ocean beyond. Relax on a sun lounge and take in the uninterrupted views, curl up on the sofa with a book or game, enjoy a glass of Tasmanian wine or gin and keep an eye out for a passing pod of dolphins.

Boat Harbour Beach House is suitable for couples, families and/or a getaway with friends up to 6. There are 4 bedrooms, two with queen beds and two with single beds. Prepare yourself to fall asleep to the lullaby of the waves and in the morning take a 20 second walk to reach one of the most unspoilt beaches in Australia!
Everything is here
We work hard to make your stay perfect, so you can relax and enjoy from the moment you walk in the door. Beach toys, books, games, picnic blanket and beach umbrellas are all provided. The original retro kitchen is even equipped with sandwich maker, milk-shake maker and icy pole maker!
Things to do
Boat Harbour is known for its pristine beach, with its fine white sand being ideal to laze on or to build sandcastles! The clarity of the green-blue water is exceptional, attracting swimmers, snorkellers, scuba divers and surfers. On dry land, explore rocky headlands and spend your days just relaxing. Nearby attractions include Sisters Beach, Table Cape Lighthouse, Table Cape Tulip Farm, Lobster Ponds, Fossil Bluff, Alchymia Distillery, The Vault in Wynyard, Rocky Cape National Park and an ideal location for a day trip to Stanley.
